| This looks like a very good tweak/upgrade. Is there room in a ST35 amp for this? I am going to build a ST35 from Dynakits in the original chassis and wonder where to install the EFB. I wouldn't be adverse to drilling new holes if necessary. If someone has done this already, I would like to see some pictures. Thanks. |

Hey,
I just got my hands on an SCA-35, and I would really like to do your EFB mod. When I first started up the amp though, the cathode bypass cap blew, so I tacked in a replacement, but I plan to get one of the cap replacement boards, since the rest of the filters are probably shaky. They generally have a cathode resistor on each pair of output tubes. How does that change the mod? I couldn't quite understand that part. Thanks for the great ideas. |
